More Than A Glow – A Skin Transformation
Experience DiamondGlow—a next-level, noninvasive skin-resurfacing treatment, designed to work with SkinMedica advanced skincare products. Together, they deliver radiant, healthy-looking skin.
DiamondGlow is more than a facial. Unlike traditional wet facial treatments, which rely on chemical exfoliation to treat skin at surface level, DiamondGlow’s patented recessed diamond tip wand delivers a next-level resurfacing treatment that deeply cleans and rejuvenates the skin. Its 3-in-1 technology exfoliates to uncover renewed skin, extracts to deeply cleanse the skin and remove debris from the skin and infuses skin with nourishing SkinMedica Pro-Infusion Serums.

How often can I have a DiamondGlow Facial?
These are non-invasive treatments. There isn’t a limit on the number of DiamondGlow Facials you can have at Bougainvillea. We recommend 1-2 treatments each month to see continued improvement and glowing results in your facial skin.
How is a DiamondGlow Facial done?
We begin your DiamondGlow session by thoroughly cleansing your facial skin. Then we select the diamond tip that matches your unique needs. We also select the SkinMedica Pro-Infusion Serum that will be delivered throughout the session.
We take the DiamondGlow wand and move it across your facial skin. Built with innovative 3×1™ technology, the wand simultaneously exfoliates, extracts debris, and infuses the skin with your custom serum. We keep making passes with the wand until we’ve completely covered your entire face, including sensitive areas that are off-limits to more invasive treatments.
How long does a DiamondGlow Facial take?
Each DiamondGlow session takes just 30 minutes.
Are there any risks involved with DiamondGlow Facials?
No. Your skin may look a little red due to the exfoliation and slight vacuum pressure, but that resolves quickly. You can get right back to work or your normal routine. There aren’t any risks involved. These are completely non-invasive, non-ablative treatments.
How long will the results from my DiamondGlow Facial last?
Our skin changes with age, so your results will reflect that. The average skin cycle is 5 to 6 weeks for complete turnover of our skin cells. In our late teens, this process only needs 14-21 days, but the turnover slows as we age; that’s why our skin begins to look more and more dull. In our 40s and 50s our skin cycle slows to from 45-60 days.
By boosting your exfoliation and delivering deep cleaning, while infusing the skin at the same time, this reduces your skin cycle and rejuvenates the skin for a period of weeks.
Will there be recovery after my DiamondGlow Facial?
No. As mentioned above, your skin may look a little red after your session, but this doesn’t last. There isn’t any downtime.
Can I combine a DiamondGlow Facial with other procedures?
Because these treatments are so easy to take, it would be simple to combine a DiamondGlow Facial with one of our other treatments in our Med Spa at Bougainvillea. You wouldn’t want to have a treatment that targets the same facial skin, but numerous other treatments would be great complements. For instance, you could come in for QWO cellulite injections and then have a DiamondGlow Facial. You could start with a CoolSculpting treatment and end with your facial. Laser hair removal requires a series of sessions, and one of those could be combined with your DiamondGlow Facial. Our hand rejuvenation treatments would work, as would dermal filler or neuromodulator injections to erase lines and creases.
If you’re interested in combining another treatment with your DiamondGlow Facial, let’s discuss what would work well together and get you scheduled.
How can I maintain my results after my DiamondGlow Facial?
The key to maintaining the skin improvements made is to get into a skin care routine using quality products, such as the SkinMedica line that provides the serums from your DiamondGlow Facial.
Skin care routines vary, but there are some elements that are in every effective routine. First, it’s important that you match the skin care products you use to your skin type. For instance, if you have oily skin, the last thing you want is moisturizer with oil in it.
At The Bougainvillea Clinique, we can help you with that. Our skin care experts can determine the type of skin you have. From there, we can point you to our various products that can help keep your skin in tip top shape.
Here are the components of a good skin care routine:
- Cleansers — You should wash your face twice each day with a cleanser that matches your skin type. If you have dry skin, your cleanser should not have alcohol, for instance.
- Toners — Toner comes next. Toners help calm and smooth your skin, and they replenish some needed nutrients.
- Moisturizers — Moisturizers are a given for everyone. Daytime moisturizers should have sun protection built in. Nighttime moisturizers won’t have sun protection. It’s a myth that those with oily skin shouldn’t use moisturizer.
- Sunscreens — This is the single most important aspect of skin care. The sun ages your skin faster than all other factors, such as nutrition, combined. The days of putting on baby oil and baking your skin are ancient history, and there are a generation of people with prune-like skin to show you why. Sunscreen needs to be broad spectrum (meaning it covers both UVA and UVB rays), and it should be SPF of at least 30. This is especially important here in sunny Winter Park.
- Exfoliators — Exfoliation is the process where our skin is constantly shedding and regenerating. Exfoliators simply push the process a little. These are not a required element, but they are very popular. They come in after cleansing your face, but before applying moisturizer. They aren’t a daily thing.
