Is CoolSculpting® Painful?
The CoolSculpting® technology has improved over time to enhance the treatment experience. Your treatment sessions should not be painful at all. You can expect a tugging sensation to occur when your provider applies the applicator to the area of focus. As fatty tissue is cooled, you might feel tingling and aching or cramping. These sensations typically go away very quickly. By 10 minutes into your treatment, the target area should be completely numb. As your nerves “come back to life,” those aching or cramping sensations may return. This should be mild enough not to interfere with your normal activities. You may even want to exercise soon after your treatment!
Is CoolSculpting® Safe?
CoolSculpting® technology is FDA-cleared for cosmetic, non-surgical body contouring. The procedure is non-invasive and carefully monitored to ensure the safety of the skin.
