Laser Resurfacing with CO2RE

The ability to treat scars, discoloration, wrinkles, and skin laxity with fractional lasers has grown in leaps and bounds. The minimally invasive fractional resurfacing procedure has proven to be effective in treating pigmentation and skin laxity. The newest fractional CO2 laser to hit the market is the powerful CO2RE from Syneron and Candela. The CO2RE features dual laser waves that can be adjusted to penetrate the skin at both superficial and deep levels simultaneously.

Fractional CO2 resurfacing is a laser treatment to improve skin texture and color resulting in smoother and tighter skin. The new “fractional” laser creates microscopic channels in the skin. These treated areas are surrounded by areas of healthy untreated skin. The untreated skin helps to “speed up” the body’s natural healing process resulting in faster recovery time. This treatment stimulates the production of new collagen which plumps up the skin and helps soften, or smooth out, wrinkles, lines, scars, and other imperfections. The fractional laser can be used for light, medium, or deep treatments.

Whether or not you are a good candidate for fractional laser will be determined during your initial consultation with one of our nurse practitioners. Your specific concerns will be addressed and detailed information about the treatment, and what to do and expect after the treatment will also be provided. Your esthetic team will work with you to plan the laser treatment that is best for you.

DermaFrac Crystal-Free Microdermabrasion

DermaFrac is a breakthrough micro-channeling technology for beautiful skin with no pain or downtime and is safe for many skin types. DermaFrac has a precision-controlled handpiece that uses vacuum to allow for maximum contact of microneedles. The microneedles create a pathway for the infusion of an anti-aging “super cocktail” peptide serum that stimulates collagen and fibroblast production. It can be combined with microdermabrasion and LED light therapy to enhance results. This treatment is ideal for acne, scars, stretchmarks, dehydrated skin, superficial lines and uneven skin tone.

Rejuvapen Microneedling

Rejuvapen Automatic Therapy System uses 9 precisely spaced micro needles in a small cartridge to create invisible, vertical, micro perforations into the epidermis and top layer of the dermis. This process causes the skin to shift its natural repair mechanism into high gear and produce collagen an elastin to repair the micro-perforations. Rejuvapen self-repairing property is a 100% natural form of skin renewal from the inside out. As your skin’s circulation is stimulated, it becomes firmer and regains elasticity, fine lines and wrinkles are visibly redcued, pores are tightened, and the overall condition is healthier.

Chemical Exfoliation

For years, chemical peels have been used to make skin look years younger and are one of the least invasive ways to improve the quality of skin. By using a chemical solution, damaged outer layers are removed revealing the healthier skin below. Our office provides a variety of mild, medium and deep peels to address many concerns of the skin such as, sun damage, fine lines and wrinkles, acne and acne scarring, large pores, skin laxity and overall quality of skin. Chemical peels can also be used on the neck, chest, arms and hands and are usually best when done in a series.

Some of our most popular peels include SkinCeuticals Micropeels, SkinMedica Vitalize Peel and SkinMedica Rejuvenize Peel.

Microdermabrasion with DermaGenesis Medical M2

Traditional dermabrasion is painful and requires a long healing process. It also includes a risk of infection and the possibility of unnatural-looking skin texture. Microdermabrasion is a non-invasive, relatively painless procedure used to minimize fine lines. In conjunction with a natural skin care program, microdermabrasion treatments can help diminish many skin imperfections such as sun or age spots and restore the glow and natural vitality of youthful skin.

Microdermabrasion is commonly referred to as “the lunchtime peel” because the procedure takes only minutes to perform and most people can return to work immediately. The procedure uses highly controlled vacuum pressure to move microscopic abrasive crystals over the surface of the skin. This action causes little or no discomfort while it gently removes the outer layer of the skin. By repeating this process over the course of several weeks or months, the younger, softer skin moves to the surface, resulting in significant improvements in texture and color.
